The move to video is good for photographers like me. I switched to full-time still photography after having a video business in Paris - back in the days when video was complicated and VERY expensive.

Now pro DSLR still cameras can take HD video too using the same lenses . Great. Film-making and post-production are real skills which is where photographers can recover territory lost to the digital revolution.
